GIRLS BASKETBALL EL PASO

Girls Basketball El Paso

Welcome to Team Fusion basketball for girls. We want to encourage all girls who are interested in playing the sport of basketball to come join the team. We provide opportunities for girls in the El Paso area to have fun participating in the sport of basketball, including practices and competition. Our basketball program is set up to help improve overall health through various levels of basketball practices and activities. We offer participants the following benefits:

  • improving athletic ability
  • engaging in regular competitions such as seasonal games and tournaments
  • engaging in championship games
  • pursuing positions of leadership and becoming role models

We have designed a conditioning plan that develops and promotes specific levels of accomplishments. We do this in an incremental fashion that progresses at a controlled pace in order to suit the goals of Team Fusion, as well as the personal goals of young athletes.

Creating a Role Model

A role model is a person whose behavior, actions or success has reached a high enough level that other individuals have come to notice, and now aspire to occupy the same capacity. Female athletes don't always appear in the media spotlight like their male counterparts do, and consequently, girls might grow up with the idea that the spotlight is only for the guys. However, there are more opportunities in today's world for girls to pursue higher levels in sports, and the Fusion staff encourages girls that it "IS" possible to be who they want to be. Yes, any girl with the desire to become an athlete can participate in sports and succeed!

Programs

  • Practice only - If you're looking to get ready for high school tryouts or college tryouts, or just trying to improve your overall skills, we can help you. Our basketball practice programs help you to achieve your own personal goals and desires, whatever they may be. You can use our practice program as just a source of fitness, to have fun, or as preparation for other recreational clubs. Practice games are optional and only involve competition with other teammates.
  • Practice for competition - Small group workouts consists of multiple players practicing together to prepare for live competition against other clubs. Coach Williams and assistants will be teaching all fundamentals in a small group setting.
  • Private - These lessons will be between 1 player and 1 coach. The sessions will be designed on an individual basis to help the player improve her overall abilities.
