Lady Knights Defeat Eastlake, Place 4th in Canyon Tournament
From tipoff
to the final buzzer, the Lady Knights dominated and controlled the game, scoring more than 13 points in
every quarter to defeat the Eastlake Lady Falcons (1-2) 79-38.
"I think that we all finally played as a team," said junior Zulema Viescas. "We out-rebounded them. Our defense was very tight that we forced turnovers with them. Not one of our players put their head down when we made a mistake."
Senior Britney Molina finished with 20 points, included seven of 20 from the field goal, three of four from the free throw line, and two three pointers, leading the score board.
